Maizuru Park is located around the ruins of Fukuoka Castle and is a park full of history and natural scenery. The most famous thing here is the cherry blossom season in spring. From late March to early April every year, more than 1,000 cherry trees bloom, turning the entire park into a dreamy pink world, attracting countless cherry blossom-viewing tourists. In addition to cherry blossoms, the autumn leaves are equally charming, making it a paradise for photography enthusiasts. Although only some stone walls and ruins remain of the Fukuoka Castle ruins in the park, you can still feel the magnificence of the castle in the past. Visitors can climb up to the castle tower and overlook the beautiful scenery of Fukuoka city. At night, the cherry blossoms here are lit up, adding a romantic atmosphere. The park has a spacious lawn area, suitable for picnics, strolls or playing with children. It is a relaxing spot for the whole family.
