Fukuoka Cherry Blossom Festival

I visited Maizuru Park, a famous cherry blossom spot in Fukuoka and the main venue for the cherry blossom festival.

Even though the cherry blossom trees weren't in full bloom, they were incredibly beautiful.

There was a barbecue area (reservations required) and food trucks.

The weather was nice, so there were lots of people and the festival atmosphere was great. :)

If you're visiting at night, be sure to stop by the Fukuoka Castle Ruins!

The illuminations are absolutely beautiful. 🌸
