1️⃣ Fukuoka ✈️ is the closest to the city center among all the major cities in Japan, but please note that the international terminal and the domestic terminal are separate, and you need to transfer to a shuttle to take the subway, so the airport bus is still the most convenient. It only takes 20 minutes from the airport to Hakata JR Station, and the fare is 310 yen
2️⃣Fukuoka is a relatively compact city, with Hakata and Tenjin as the main business districts. If you are not in a hurry and the weather is ideal, you can walk directly in the two major business districts. If you are mainly visiting the Western Art Museum and Ohori Park, you can consider buying a Fukuoka subway day pass
3️⃣Now foreign tourists can no longer get tax refunds when buying products at Apple stores in Japan. Yodobashi and Bic Camera still offer tax refunds, but whether there is any left is a matter of luck
4️⃣ As Fukuoka is the capital of Kyushu, there are usually many concerts on weekends and holidays. Hotels are also very expensive, at least 1,000HKD or more.
