Traveling to Fukuoka by ferry

1️⃣ Preparing to depart from Busan International Passenger Terminal
Start your journey at the Busan Port International Passenger Terminal located in Jung-gu. After ticketing and completing departure procedures, you can choose your preferred style of travel: JR Kyushu Beetle (high-speed ferry) or Camellia Line (overnight ferry).

2️⃣ Relaxing travel time on the sea
The Beetle takes about 3 hours, while the Camellia Line operates overnight and takes 11–12 hours. The journey itself adds excitement to your trip as you glide across the sea. Don’t miss the view outside the window!

3️⃣ Arriving at Fukuoka’s Hakata Port
After completing entry procedures, it takes only about 10–15 minutes by bus or taxi to reach the city center from Hakata Port. Upon arrival, you’ll immediately feel the clean and organized atmosphere unique to Japan.

4️⃣ Exploring Tenjin or Nakasu right after arrival
If you love shopping, head to Tenjin; if you’re looking for local nightlife and flavors, go straight to Nakasu! Start your trip by enjoying local Japanese dishes like Yaki Ramen, Motsunabe, and Tonkotsu Ramen.

5️⃣ Duty-free shopping and sea views on the way back
On your return trip from Fukuoka to Busan, you can shop for souvenirs at the duty-free shop in the passenger terminal and once again enjoy the sea views, wrapping up your journey at a leisurely pace.
