Fukuoka's Cutest Toast

Around 5 PM, while strolling near Yakuin, I suddenly remembered the highly acclaimed GOOD UP COFFEE in Fukuoka, which had been on my list for ages but I hadn’t had the chance to visit. With only 20 minutes left before their closing time, I wasn’t sure if they’d still accept customers, but I decided to give it a shot.

Upon entering the shop, the owner kindly informed me that they close at 6 PM, asking, "大丈夫ですか?" (Is that okay?). Since I wasn’t sure when I’d be back in Fukuoka again, I quickly replied, "Ok, ok!"

I ordered a drink for myself and shared a red bean and cream toast with my companion.

All I can say is, the toast was absolutely delicious. I’m so glad I made it in time. The fluffy and chewy texture, paired with the salty butter and sweet red bean paste, plus its adorable appearance, made for a truly blissful experience 🥹
