Sumiyoshi Shrine Visit Fukuoka
There are many ways to enter and exit the shrine area. It is surrounded by large shady trees. Inside the shrine, there is a sign that prohibits photography and making loud noises. You can go in to worship, make merit, and pray as usual. Sumiyoshi Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the three gods (kami) Sokotsutsunoo, Nakatsutsunoo, and Uhatsutsunoo. The three gods together are the gods of fishing and the sea.
🏖️Environment/Facilities: Shady, very beautiful, quiet
We walked from Hakata Station. It took about 12 minutes.
