⛩️ Fukuoka Sumiyoshi Shrine

A shrine quietly located in the middle of the city.

As I took a few steps away from the noisy streets,
I felt as if time had slowed down.

The sunlight was warm, the leaves were rustling,
and as I walked along this path, stepping on the stone steps one by one,
I was able to quietly let my mind go.

This is Sumiyoshi Shrine, which worships the god of the sea.

It is a place where people praying for safe navigation have been coming for a long time.

I also closed my eyes for a moment and made a wish.

It wasn't something big or grand,
I just hoped that this peace would last a long time :)

Time to reflect on myself in a quiet space,
Isn't that the real charm of traveling?
