Fukuoka Hakata - Finding peace of mind at Sumiyoshi Shrine 🌸

#福冈景点

Recently I had the pleasure of visiting Sumiyoshi Shrine in Fukuoka, a place that was truly soul-stirring. When I stepped into this shrine with a history of more than 1,800 years, the scene before me brought tears to my eyes. 🏯

Sumiyoshi Shrine is located in the center of Fukuoka, about a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station. The lush greenery along the way makes people feel happy, as if they are in a secluded paradise. Sumiyoshi Shrine is open all year round from 6 am to 6 pm.

When I walked through the magnificent torii gate, I instantly felt a sacred atmosphere. There are not only magnificent buildings here, but also cute sumo poetry sticks and sturdy Komainu, as if blessing every visitor. Especially the statue of the ancient wurihiman next to the shrine. Looking at that solid body, I felt a transmission of power, as if telling me that no matter what difficulties I face, I can move forward courageously.

I worship here quietly, letting the worries and anxieties in my heart drift away with the wind. Every time I pray devoutly, I feel my soul sublimated, as if a warm current moistens my heart.

At Sumiyoshi Shrine, I also met other people who came to pray. Everyone's piety and expectation formed an invisible bond in the air, which touched me deeply. Every corner here seems to be telling stories from the past, which makes people feel emotional.

I particularly like the Mikata Ebisu Shrine in that corner. The lovely statue there makes me want to touch it and pray for luck and blessings. When I touched the sea bream and silently prayed for it, tears started to flow down my face. This feeling is so real that it makes me feel the beauty of life. ✨

Sumiyoshi Shrine is not only a tourist attraction, but also a place where people can re-examine their inner selves. This journey has taught me that no matter how busy life is, we should always take time out to find inner peace. I hope everyone can have the opportunity to come here and feel the shock and emotion. ❤️
