📣One of Fukuoka's three major festivals, the Hakozaki Shrine's "Hoseikai" (Release of Life) officially opens today!
This year is especially important, as the biennial "Shikoku Procession" will take place on September 12th & 14th, 2025!

⚡ Only two days left! If you miss it, you'll have to wait another two years!
The adorable festivities of priests, armored warriors, children, and the nighttime lantern-lit atmosphere are truly breathtaking!

September 12th, 6:00 PM: Gojinko (Lower): Departs from Hakozakigu Shrine

September 14th, 7:00 PM: Gojinko (Upper): Returns from Tontongu Shrine to Hakozakigu Shrine
