The largest park in Fukuoka

Uminonakamichi Seaside Park, located on a peninsula bordering Hakata Bay in Fukuoka City, is a 290-hectare (725-acre) park that combines nature with a variety of recreational activities.

Popular activities include cycling on the long and scenic bike paths. The park is lined with cherry trees, perfect for spring. There's also a large playground, a miniature golf course, go-karts, and Wonder World, an amusement park with a Ferris wheel and a giant trampoline.

For adventure seekers, the Sunshine Pool, the largest water park in western Japan, features a watercourse and a variety of water slides. Animal lovers can visit the Animal Forest zoo and farm for up-close animal feeding.

For those visiting from late March to early April, the Sakura Garden is a great place to enjoy a picnic, providing a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended.
