A park in Fukuoka where you can meet capybaras: 'Uminonakamichi Seaside Park'

Travel Diary Japan Day 14 - Fukuoka Edition

📍Uminonakamichi Seaside Park

Located about 30 minutes from Fukuoka city center, Uminonakamichi Seaside Park is a beachside park where you can meet capybaras.

If the name sounds familiar, it might be because you know the Marine World located next to the park☺️.

This seaside park features a small zoo 🐰 with animals that are not commonly seen elsewhere. Flamingos, capybaras, llamas, donkeys, and other unique animals are scattered throughout the charmingly designed zoo.

It’s a great spot for those who love adorable animals or are visiting with children☺️.

It was my first time seeing a capybara, and I found it absolutely fascinating.

You can also rent bicycles, so if you’re looking for something special to do in Fukuoka, this is a place worth visiting🌿.
