Yanagibashi Market, known as the "Kitchen of Hakata"

This is Yanagibashi Rengo Market, known as "Hakata's Kitchen."
When I visited, all the stores were closed due to the approaching typhoon,
but you can see that there are a variety of shops lined up, from fresh fish and vegetables to butchers and restaurants.

There is also a mentaiko shop, which may be a good way to see the "Hakata" atmosphere of Fukuoka.

When you go around the market, you can get a sense of the "food" of the area,
so it's a place you'll want to enjoy a leisurely stroll when the shops are open.
