It's about a 10-minute taxi ride from Hakata Station.
The area is residential, so tourists might miss it.
The reason I visited was because Fujii Fumiya introduced it on TBS's Best Restaurant in Life.
I learned that he visits this restaurant and eats squid shumai every time he performs live in Fukuoka, so I decided to go.
The restaurant is really full of locals, and maybe because it's Saturday!
The squid shumai I was looking for was ready on the table in about 10 minutes! It's tofu-based and has a mild flavor.
As for drinks, Yebisu Kuro Nama is priced at ¥550, a price that would be impossible in Tokyo!
In any case, I could see why Fujii Fumiya is such a big fan.
