[Osaka/Fukushima] A place where you can enjoy creative Japanese cuisine using seasonal ingredients and fine sake

🥢 Fish and Brewed Sake Osaka Fukushima Uogin
📍 Osaka Fukushima (3-minute walk from JR Fukushima Station)

This time, I ordered
・Omakase Course (6600 yen) 📝

This is a special course available only at the Fukushima location, changing with the seasons and offered only on the day.
It consists of six dishes: three kinds of appetizers, sashimi, a middle plate, grilled dish, fried dish, and simmered dish, all enjoyed slowly with sake.

The menu for this day was:

・Sakizuke (Three kinds of appetizers)
A dish with dried bonito, snow peas, and mitsuba topped with miso mayonnaise. It has a fragrant yet gentle flavor.
The mugwort steamed bread was fluffy and chewy.
The subtle aroma was irresistible.
Kaga thick cucumber and sakura shrimp with ginger jelly had a great texture and aroma,
and it strongly conveyed the feeling of the season✨️

・Sashimi
Three kinds: tuna, isaki (grunt fish), and barracuda.
All were thickly sliced, and the barracuda was seared on the skin for a fragrant finish, leaving a strong impression!
It was moist and delicious, showing careful knife skills💕

・Middle Plate
Chilled steamed egg custard with clams and peas.
Large clams were included, making it very satisfying.
Uni was also on top, making it a luxurious dish.
The cool texture was perfect for the coming season💗

・Grilled Dish
Teriyaki Spanish mackerel.
The thick Spanish mackerel was well coated with a sweet and savory sauce, making you crave rice.
The oven-roasted new cabbage and new onions served alongside brought out their natural sweetness and were very delicious☺️

・Fried Dish
Tempura of young ayu fish and mountain vegetables.
Spring-like mountain vegetables such as butterbur sprouts and fiddlehead ferns.
The young ayu was soft enough to eat the bones whole, enjoyed from head to tail.
A dish that made you feel the season🌱

・Simmered Dish (Takimono)
Simmered tokobushi abalone and seasonal vegetables with kudzu starch.
The tokobushi had a crunchy texture and was tender, with plenty of vegetables like beans and asparagus✨️
The thick broth gently wrapped everything, with a flavor that warmed the body🥰

Each dish was beautifully and carefully prepared, designed to be enjoyed slowly with sake.

For an additional 800 yen, you can add a mini chirashi sushi or dessert (seasonal fruit and ice cream) to finish.
It's a nice point that you can enjoy until the very end💡

✍️ The interior is quiet and calm.
There are table seats and private rooms, with a clean and comfortable atmosphere.
You can enjoy your meal at a relaxed pace.
It’s a place I want to visit again in different seasons.
