We had 2 wonderful days in Fuzhou
Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province, blends rich history, cultural heritage, and stunning natural landscapes.

🚩 Sightseeing Route

In 2 days we visited the most important tourist attractions in Fuzhou like (3 lanes and seven alleys) and Lin Zexu , a temple and Min River

🏖️ Must-Visit Attractions

1. 三坊七巷 (Three Lanes and Seven Alleys)
- A well-preserved historical district featuring Ming and Qing dynasty architecture, former residences of famous figures like Lin Zexu and Bing Xin.
- Explore Yijin Fang, Wenru Fang, Guanglu Fang, and visit Lin Zexu Memorial Hall and Bing Xin’s Former Residence
- Best time to visit : Daytime for cultural tours, evening for lantern-lit ambiance.

2. 平潭岛 (Pingtan Island)
- Known for its blue tears (bioluminescent plankton) and beautiful beaches like Longfengtou Beach and Tannan Bay
- Visit Shi Pai Yang (Twin Stone Reefs) and Xianren Jing (Fairy Valley)。
- Best time : April-August for "blue tears" phenomenon.

3. 福道 (Fuzhou Forest Walkway)
- A 19-km elevated trail winding through forests, connecting five parks (Meifeng Mountain Park, Jin’niu Mountain Park, etc.).
- Features spiral staircases, glass-bottomed observation decks , and stunning night views .
- Best entry point : Gate 3 (Meifeng Mountain Park).

4. 鼓山 (Mount Gu)
- A scenic mountain with Yongquan Temple , ancient cliff carvings, and panoramic city views.
- Take a cable car** or hike the 1,800-step ancient path.
- Best time : Early morning for sunrise or sunset.

5. 烟台山 (Yantai Mountain)
- A historic area with colonial-era buildings, churches, and trendy cafes.
- Walk along Lequn Road and Ma Chang Street for Instagrammable spots .
- Best time : Late afternoon for golden-hour photography.

6. 闽江夜游 (Min River Night Cruise)
- Enjoy 3D light shows and illuminated bridges like Minjiang Bridge and Jiefang Bridge.
- Departure times : 19:30 & 20:45 (classic cruise), 20:15 (luxury cruise).

7. 西湖公园 (West Lake Park)
- Fuzhou’s oldest classical garden (1,700+ years old) with **lotus ponds, pavilions, and arched bridges .
- Nearby Fujian Museum showcases ancient artifacts.

### 8. 福州国家森林公园 (Fuzhou National Forest Park)
- Home to a 1,000-year-old banyan tree , bird-watching spots, and cherry blossoms in spring .

- A revitalized ancient commercial district with Qing-style architecture, teahouses, and art galleries.

### 10. 福州欧乐堡海洋世界 (Fuzhou Oulebao Ocean World)
- A family-friendly aquarium with underwater tunnels and marine shows .
