Find surprises in the alleys of Sanfang Qixiang

My accommodation in Fuzhou was located in the alley directly across from the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, allowing me to enjoy the area both day and night. This historical and cultural district, comprised of the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys and Nanhou Street, preserves buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties. Key attractions in this area include:
① The Heart Tree: Located in the middle of Nanhou Street, this banyan tree, with its heart-shaped branches and leaves, is a must-photo! Visit in the morning for fewer people.
② Lin Zexu Memorial Hall: Free admission
③ Bing Xin's/Lin Juemin's Former Residence: Free admission
④ Classical McDonald's/Starbucks
⑤ Huaxiang Christian Church: Visit if you're on your way.
⑥ Former residences of Yan Fu, Chen Jiliang, and others

Walking around the entire area takes a considerable amount of time and effort. While visiting the famous attractions is essential, surprises often come through chance encounters. This area is perfect for those who enjoy exploring the alleys and discovering new worlds.
