Fuzhou is such a comfortable city

Fuzhou is absolutely amazing! This low-key "Rong City" is literally my treasure discovery 🏮, the charm of Sanfang Qixiang plus the lively atmosphere of Shangxiahang totally wins my heart 💘

🚶‍♀️48-hour walking route:
DAY 1👉
📍Sanfang Qixiang (Nanhou Street, Gulou District):
A must-visit in Fuzhou TOP 1‼️ Main street for eating, drinking, and entertainment, with many celebrity former residences like the Lin Zexu Memorial Hall hidden in the side alleys. The love tree is super romantic for photos 🌳
📍Daming Food Street (opposite Sanfang Qixiang):
The night market is absolutely amazing! Fuzhou fish balls, meat dumplings, Guobian soup... all for about 30 RMB per person, you'll be so full you can barely walk 😋
📍Huaxiang Christian Church:
The pink church is a dream for girls 💒, the light is best at 4 PM, every shot looks like a masterpiece 📸

DAY 2👉
📍Shangxiahang (Taijiang District):
A more boutique version of Sanfang Qixiang! Vintage arcade buildings + artsy cafes, the Zhongping Road section really feels like stepping back to the Republic of China era ✨
📍Yantai Mountain (Cangshan District):
Fuzhou’s version of "Gulangyu"! The consulate buildings are great to explore, the stone church with ginkgo trees in autumn is stunning 🍂, and it feels even better when lit up at night~
📍Fudao (Jinniushan entrance):
The sky forest trail is so cool! Recommended to climb at dusk to overlook the whole city’s night view 🌉 (the full trail takes 3 hours, just pick a section to experience)

🍜 Foodie radar activated:
✅Tongli Rouyan (Sanfang Qixiang branch): 130-year-old brand! Thin skin and delicious filling, a must-try
✅Meiyabo Peanut Soup (Lao Yaozhou branch): Happiness for 4 RMB! The taro paste + peanut soup combo is unbeatable
✅Chenji Fuxin Fish Balls: The juicy eel fish balls made me show off by eating three bowls straight

💡Local tips:
1⃣ The main street of Sanfang Qixiang is heavily commercialized, the side alleys are the essence! Be sure to explore Huangxiang and Anminxiang
2⃣ Wear comfortable shoes for Yantai Mountain! So many ups and downs, you’ll question your life
3⃣ For authentic mixed noodles and flat meat dumplings, look for the street sign "Shanggan"
