Yatagala RajaMaha Viharaya

Just visited Yatagala RajaMaha Viharaya, and it’s absolutely stunning! This 2,300-year-old temple is tucked away in Galle’s jungle, radiating spiritual vibes. The 9-meter-long reclining Buddha and intricate murals blew me away, like stepping into ancient Sri Lanka. Surrounded by bodhi trees and massive rocks, the serene atmosphere is unreal, especially in the morning with fewer people. Remember to remove shoes and respect local customs. The entrance fee’s a bit debated, but the history and beauty make it totally worth it!
