2-Day Road Trip to Gangwon-do, South Korea

Happiness is going out to play. I drove from Seoul to Sokcho, Gangwon-do, South Korea.

1️⃣Day 1:
It snowed heavily in other places, but not much in Sokcho.
I went straight to Sokcho Namgyeong Cold Noodles 🍜 and ordered the recommended 들막 and 곤막, which were really delicious~😋 I was so full that I drove to the beach 5 minutes away. The waves were so big that I almost wanted to jump in 🌊

Afternoon: The view was really beautiful. The snow-covered mountains looked like a work of art. In the evening, I bought 만석닭강정 fried chicken at Sokcho Tourist Fish Market.

2️⃣Day 2:
In the morning, I went to have chicken stew 🍲. The soup was full of green onions and Cheongyang chili peppers, which made it very refreshing. I drank the day before, and after eating, I felt completely sober.

Afternoon:
I went to a cafe near Seoraksan Mountain. The wind was really strong on the second day, and even the gas station sign was almost blown away, haha 🌬️💨. Fortunately, I wore a thick coat.

🫵Trip summary:
It was a great short trip by car on the weekend 😌. Sokcho is worth visiting.
