Top-tier pension near Gangmun Beach

This was the reason for my sudden trip to Gangneung, and I was so satisfied that I visited twice within a month.

🩷Room Type: Cinema Room

The room options include Standard, Suite, Jacuzzi, Cinema, and Deluxe. Since I was traveling alone, I chose the cozy Cinema Room. I stayed in B304 Cinema Room, which is a duplex type. All three rooms on the third floor are Cinema Rooms.

🩵Facilities

There are two swimming pools—one on the rooftop and another in the check-in building. Unfortunately, I didn’t bring a swimsuit as I thought the pools weren’t operational. Also, since it’s Korea and not abroad, swimming alone felt a bit awkward, so I decided not to bring one.

There’s a separate barbecue area on the first floor. While the pension doesn’t have a gym, it’s a great spot for a morning jog or walk along Gangmun Beach while watching the sunrise.

The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, wine glasses, a microwave, a kettle, and a spacious refrigerator, making it perfect for cooking. Amenities include slippers, and the terrace is ideal for enjoying a quiet evening with a drink. Traveling alone felt relaxing, and the Cinema Room added a touch of luxury to the experience.
