A Chill Day at Ojukheon

#summervacay So we decided to swing by Ojukheon, and honestly? Totally worth it. It’s one of those spots that somehow manages to be both peaceful and kinda epic. The bamboo trees lining the paths are super calming, it’s like nature ASMR or something. You walk in, and everything just slows down a little.
The historical stuff is cool too, like the house where Shin Saimdang and Yulgok Yi I lived. It’s wild to think you're standing where people from centuries ago lived their daily lives. The buildings are super well-kept, and the little details are worth noticing, roof tiles, wooden doors, all of it. Even if you're not a history buff, it’s got a quiet charm that makes you wanna stay a bit longer.
There's also a small museum with some art and artifacts, which is a nice bonus. Nothing overwhelming, just enough to get a little context.
Perfect spot for a slow morning or afternoon. Bring your camera, your curiosity, and maybe a snack. Ojukheon hits different when you’re not in a rush.
