Shenzhen's Backyard ~ I've always wanted to live a minimalist life in the mountains!

Shenzhen Slow Weekend | Breathe in the forest air amidst mountains and waters this weekend ✨
This Dragon Boat Festival, I had a wonderfully fulfilling
"undisturbed" holiday
I've long dreamed of living simply in the mountains
Sleeping when naturally tired, waking when refreshed
Practicing the ability to regularly clear my thoughts
"Take good care of your vitality"
These two days, I woke at 7 AM, had breakfast at the B&B
Then practiced Jin Gang Gong by the rice field cottages
Here, I discovered several heartwarming little things:
1. Next to Villa No.7, an uncle tends a small orchard with native bees. The branches were heavy with ripe plums within easy reach. The kind uncle even opened the gate for us to pick some.
2. The Xiang Ye Er Sheng B&B (in Ganzhou Kongtong) is part of a three-property collective called Kongtong Suji, allowing exploration of all distinctive lodgings. Flowers bloom everywhere, and nights resonate with frog choruses.
3. The B&B's café became my ultimate chill spot - reading with mountain views, music, coffee, and watching children swim in the pool. Finding such genuine peace is rare.
4. No convenience stores around (we're truly in the mountains), but the B&B's meals were surprisingly delicious - mildly spiced yet flavorful (requires one-day advance booking).
