Chongwen Tower - A landmark building in Dahubay, Gaotai County

📑Attraction Introduction:
Chongwen Tower, meaning 'Reverence for Literature and Learning', was built in 2011. It covers an area of 1,735 square meters with a floor area of 1,124 square meters, consisting of the platform, the body of the tower, and the treasure top. Designed with a four-sided, five-story, double-eaved, and gathered tip roof in the style of Ming and Qing Dynasty architecture from the southern provinces, it stands 41.68 meters tall.

Chongwen Tower has five floors, each with a theme:
🔅The first floor is 'Wenhui Gaotai', displaying the talented people of Gaotai;
🔅The second floor is 'Chongde Shangxian', showcasing famous figures from various industries throughout history;
🔅The third floor is 'Zhi Sheng Xian Shi', presenting the essence of Chinese classical studies and the Hundred Schools of Thought;
🔅The fourth floor is 'Wenchang's Movement', displaying mythological figures;
🔅The sixth floor is 'Looking Up at the Starry Sky', displaying astronomical knowledge.

It is said that the purpose of building Chongwen Tower was to continue the long and distinguished cultural heritage of Gaotai, inspiring students to study hard and strive for academic progress. Today, it has become a famous landmark in Gaotai, and from the top of the tower, one can take in the magnificent view of the entire Dahubay Scenic Area. Around August 8th each year, Gaotai County holds a college entrance examination commendation ceremony and a 'Golden Autumn Student Aid' event here.
