Gaoyou Ancient City

Gaoyou City is a World Heritage City, a National Historical and Cultural City, and a National All-region Tourism Demonstration Area. There are currently six national key cultural relic protection units: Yucheng Post, Longqiu Village Site, Gaoyou Pawnshop, Gaoyou Ming and Qing Dynasties Canal Ancient Route, Zhen Guo Temple Pagoda, and Pingjin Sluice. Gaoyou folk songs are listed in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List, and the Gaoyou section of the Grand Canal of China is included in the World Heritage List; Lingtang Mosque is listed as one of the heritage sites applying for the Maritime Silk Road in China.
