The Former Site of the General Front Committee Memorial Hall, where Comrade Deng Xiaoping, a core leader of the second generation, fought and lived, serves as a key platform for patriotic education and revolutionary tradition education in Danyang City. Since its opening in 1998, the museum has served a significant purpose, welcoming over 200,000 visitors. It has played a particularly active role in the education campaign to maintain the advanced nature of Communist Party members and commemorate the 60th anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, with annual visitors reaching 60,000. Currently, the Danyang City Former Site of the General Front Committee Memorial Hall has been designated a Jiangsu Province Patriotic Education Base and a Jiangsu Province National Defense Education Base. To further enhance its role in educating the public about patriotism and revolutionary traditions, the museum has undergone comprehensive renovations and reconstruction.

The Memorial Hall of the Former Site of the General Front Committee is located at No. 5 Baota Lane, Neichenghe Road, Danyang City (formerly the Dai Family Garden). It comprises the former site and the memorial hall, covering 1,344 square meters. The two-story building is now furnished and displayed in its original state. The three-story memorial hall houses the exhibition "The Glorious General Front Committee," which uses modern media, including images, text, sound, light, and video, to fully present the glorious history of the General Front Committee.

The exhibition hall is divided into five parts

The first part, "The Glorious Journey", uses physical models combined with oil painting and other techniques to vividly recreate the magnificent scene of millions of troops crossing the Yangtze River.

The second part, "Heroes Gathering in Danyang", uses oil painting scenes to show the scene of Deng Xiaoping, Chen Yi and other leaders of the General Front Committee, East China Bureau, and East China Military Region gathering in Danyang City.

The third part, "Strategies in Danyang City," will use 3D animation and silicone portraits to highlight the grand historical scenes of Deng Xiaoping, Chen Yi and other older generation proletarian revolutionaries strategizing in Danyang City and winning the battle for Shanghai, fully recreating the dedication and sacrifices made by the people of Danyang for the liberation and takeover of Shanghai.

The fourth part, "Decisive Victory in Shanghai", will use sound, light, electricity, fiberglass and steel sculptures to depict the thrilling battle scenes of the Battle of Shanghai and the moving scenes of the PLA sleeping on the streets.

The fifth part, "Immortal Monument", will use digital front projection to show the glorious images of the Danyang martyrs who died in the Battle of Shanghai.
