When I came back from Sanguan Mountain, my friends thought I had gone to Xinjiang.

Sanguan Mountain in Gaoshan, western Guangdong, has long been a hidden gem for outdoor enthusiasts and a treasured hiking route. In recent years, thanks to some bloggers and online publicity, this hidden gem has been discovered by more and more people who come to visit.
📍Address:
Sanguan Mountain Scenic Area, Niucheping Village, Gaoshan, Maoming, Guangdong
🚉Transportation:
Only accessible by car, no public transportation. The road to the scenic area is actually a village road, the entrance is not wide, and it's easy to get lost. Don't set your navigation to Sanguan Mountain, set it to Niucheping Village (drive straight in when you see the archway in the picture). We took the wrong road and had to turn back. The village roads here are very narrow, and it's difficult to pass other cars. Most of the roads are single-lane.
💰Average cost:
No tickets are required for now, free of charge. There is a free public parking lot, so you don't have to park at a farmer's house (they charge CNY 20 per car).
⏳Time:
6–8 hours (we recommend setting off in the morning, as there are no street lights in the scenic area at night).
🌟Highlights:
Beautiful mountain scenery, a niche hiking route, and a chance to challenge yourself.
📝Tips:
1. Be prepared, the road here is really not easy to walk, a long section is a dirt and stone road, which is quite tiring.
2. The scenery along the way is good, but not amazing, just average.
3. Parking spaces are very limited, and there is a distance from the hiking spot to the parking lot.
4. Bring water and snacks.
