Lake Sevan

#summervacay Spent the day out at Lake Sevan in Gegharkunik Province, and it was exactly what I needed. It’s one of the largest high altitude lakes in the world, and yeah, you can totally feel that fresh mountain air. The water is super clear and cold, in a refreshing way, not a shock your soul way (unless you jump in too fast like I did).

There are a bunch of beaches around, some sandy, some rocky, but all super chill. I grabbed some fresh fish from a lakeside spot (trout is the go to) and it hit the spot.

Also checked out Sevanavank Monastery, sitting up on the hill with the most epic view of the lake. Definitely worth the climb. The whole area has this peaceful, breezy energy, like nature telling you to slow down and just be.

Perfect place to swim, eat, explore, or just do absolutely nothing. Lake Sevan’s got that quiet kind of magic. 10/10 would float again.
