Switzerland Travel: Geneva (Montreux)

This travel diary is about the peaceful city of Geneva and the city of Montreux, loved by Freddie Mercury👏👏

When you arrive in Geneva, there are so many people leisurely swimming, walking, and enjoying picnics in Lake Geneva.

The fountain you see in the back is the Jet d'Eau Fountain, which is 140m tall, 50m higher than the Statue of Liberty.

I've been to Geneva three times so far, and there's a restaurant I always go to.

It's a hamburger franchise called HOLY COW! located in front of Geneva Station, and it's really, really delicious.

If you ever go to Geneva, you should definitely stop by! •.•

You can get to Montreux by taking a train from Geneva for about an hour.

While sightseeing in Montreux, you'll see a statue of Freddie Mercury.
I can see the peaceful atmosphere unique to Montreux, and I can see why Freddie Mercury always came to rest.

Of all the Montreux tours, I liked the Château de Chillon the most. The medieval castle is really well preserved.

Also, the view from Chillon Castle is really pretty @.@

When you go outside, you can see Lake Geneva and the Alps behind it like a folding screen. This moment is really unforgettable.
