Lake Geneva is huge
Just explore along the lake
There are already many attractions
The Palais des Nations 🏛️ located on the edge of Lake Geneva
After World War II, the Palace of Nations was owned by the United Nations 🇺🇳
It then became the seat of the United Nations Office in Geneva
Come and see the flags of all nations flying🚩
There is a huge sculpture "Bench with Broken Legs" 🦵🏻 in the Plaza of the Palace of Nations
The artist used this to warn the world not to forget
The miserable experience that landmines in war brought to innocent people❤️🩹
There is also a L'horloge fleurie from the English garden on the shores of Lake Geneva 🌸🌼
This English garden was built in 1854🌳
There is another park nearby called Prism Park🌲
This park is also known as Reform Park🍀
Because the park has an eye-catching Reformation Wall monument🗿
In 1517 the church of the time was criticized by Martin Luther, Calvin, Zwingli, Henry VIII and other theologians
Launched a religious reform
The monumental statue commends the reforms made by John Calvin and other theologians
There is also a very interesting life-size chessboard♟️ at the northern end of the park
There are quite a few people playing chess here
It feels like the Victoria Park man playing chess in Hong Kong ~🤡
