A collection of Penang street art that you must hunt down
-Street Art - Brother & Sister on a Swing
Take a break from eating for a moment, put on some makeup, and go out to enjoy some street art hopping. Start with the 'Brother & Sister on a Swing' mural, featuring two siblings standing on a swing, smiling joyfully. This artwork is by Louis Gan, a deaf and mute independent artist since birth. There's an empty swing next to them, inviting you to join in the frame and pose as if you're playing with them.
-Street Art - Kids on Bicycle
The next mural depicts children riding a bicycle with joyful smiles. This piece is by Ernest Zacharevic, blending painted images with a real vintage-style bicycle to create a three-dimensional effect. Despite being created a long time ago, it remains popular, with people constantly stopping by to take photos.
Additionally, around George Town, there are many other street art pieces to hunt down throughout the city, each with its own story and created by different artists. Following the street art road map is another fun activity in Penang.
