Penang Street Art

#2月好地方2025

Address: 316, Beach St, Georgetown, 10300 George Town, Penang, Malaysia.

Opening hours: 24 hours

Penang Street Art is located in George Town. After it was defined as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2008, the government commissioned Lithuanian artist Ernest Zacharevic to create six murals for the George Town Cultural Arts Festival in order to attract more tourists to visit Penang. His paintings integrate the lives of residents into the local environment, among which the most famous are children squeezed on bicycles.

Street art really attracts many tourists. Tourists walk through the streets and alleys looking for beautiful murals to take photos, as if they are playing a treasure hunt game. They are really happy and excited. In fact, they are sweating profusely and it is really a bit hard 🤣🤣🤣.

After a hard day's work, you can take a break at a nearby coffee shop, taste authentic coffee and desserts, and spend a very relaxing day.
