If you’re hanging around Gurney Drive in Penang and just want a nice spot to chill and relax, this place is definitely worth a visit. The vibe is super laid back, nothing too fancy or over the top, just the kind of place where you can sit back, enjoy good food, and take your time. Perfect for winding down after a day out or even for a casual night out with friends.

Now let’s talk about the food. The pizzas here are honestly one of the best I’ve had in Penang. And what makes it even better – it’s woodfired. That crust comes out with the right amount of char, slightly smoky on the edges, crisp but still chewy inside. Every bite feels just right. If you’re into pizzas, you’ll know what I mean – this one really hits the spot.

The other dish that really stood out to me was the filet mignon. They cook it perfectly, tender and juicy with all the flavor locked in. You can tell they take pride in serving it right, and it’s the type of dish you’d want to come back for. Honestly, if you’re a steak lover, you won’t go wrong here.

One thing to keep in mind – this place is non-halal. They do serve alcohol, and the drinks list is quite solid. From cocktails to beers and wines, there’s something for everyone. I like that you can pair your meal with a good drink and just take your time enjoying the evening.

Overall, I’d say this spot is a gem in the Gurney Drive area. Come for the woodfired pizza, stay for the filet mignon, and top it off with a drink or two. It’s got the right mix of good food, cozy vibes, and a casual atmosphere that makes you want to come back again. Definitely a place I’d revisit.
