Fort Cornwallis

First time visiting this place after a lifetime of coming to Penang for holidays. Better late than never 😅 Admission is RM5, kids under 4 is free of charge. The entrance is full of beautiful ancient trees, with a neat cafe and outdoor sitting (it was closed when we were there because of puasa month). It was quite deserted when we went around evening, 6pm. Lots of interesting facts such as info on Sir Francis Light and also the numerous cannons, some of them facing the ocean. The gunpowder magazine was pretty neat to venture into. From here you could see the clock tower as well as some cruise ships nearby. I did not see any public toilets but maybe I missed it. All in all a beautiful scenic and historical place to visit 😊 Street parking only.#mytripvlog #2023travelwish #tripblazers
