When traveling, it's easy to get bored or have a short date with just a garden. Brookgreen Gardens, a multi-cultural space featuring a sculpture garden, a zoo, historic plantation ruins, and expansive walking trails, was the perfect day-long date. The cultural and emotional rewards were truly worth the admission price. We enjoyed artistic exchanges in the sculpture garden in the morning, adventures in the wetlands in the afternoon, and a romantic evening on the beautiful oak-lined paths.
