Gifu Castle, located atop Kinkayama in Gifu City, was once the base for Oda Yoichi's unification of the world, boasting a strategically important location.
To admire the magnificent castle, take the mountaintop cable car or, if you're more physically fit, hike up. We highly recommend visiting the castle tower, where the observation deck offers breathtaking views of the Nagara River and the mountains of Gifu City.

🕰️Opening Hours: 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM (until 8:00 PM on weekends)
💰Average Cost: Round-trip Kinkayama Cable Car 1,300 yen for adults
Gifu Castle Entrance Fee: 200 yen for adults
🚂Access: Approximately 20 minutes by bus from JR Gifu Station
The Kinkayama Cable Car ride is approximately 5 minutes, and the castle tower is a 10-minute walk away.
