The Hwapocheon Wetland, a vast expanse of verdant wetlands, welcomes visitors with a different landscape each season. In spring, migratory birds soar, and in summer, aquatic plants flourish, creating a vibrant atmosphere. A leisurely stroll along the boardwalk allows you to fully experience the breath of nature. At the end of the wetlands, a unique structure catches the eye: the Hallim Drainage Plant.
Once built to protect farmland, this drainage plant now stands as a symbol of ecological preservation. The weathered concrete exterior and the sound of flowing water create a captivating harmony, adding to the charm of this industrial heritage. This space demonstrates how nature and humans coexist by controlling water flow. A small observation deck offers panoramic views of the wetlands. This unique strolling spot blends the tranquility of nature with the vestiges of technology. 🌾
