[Okinawa] Ginowan City If you want to visit shrines in Okinawa, go to Futenma Shrine in Futenma

Futenma Shrine is one of the eight Ryukyu shrines in Futenma, Ginowan City.

Although it is a small shrine, it is a historic shrine that is visited by locals from early in the morning even on weekdays.

The shrine offers a wide range of benefits, from prayers for health and traffic to prayers for success and safe childbirth.

Futenma Shrine also has a cave next to the main hall, despite being a shrine. Inside the cave, which is about 280 meters long and made of limestone, is a mysterious space that can be visited for free.

Guided tours are given every 20 minutes, and photography is prohibited inside the limestone cave, which is a sacred place.

The goshuin book also has a design that is typical of Okinawa, so it is recommended to start collecting goshuin from here.

Futenma Shrine is a shrine where you can visit not only the shrine but also the limestone cave.

Why not visit it to make memories of your trip to Okinawa?
