Niyang River Scenic Belt in Linzhi, Tibet

The Niyang River, a river on China's Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, is 307.5 kilometers long and has a drainage area of 17,500 square kilometers. It ranks fourth among the tributaries of the Yarlung Zangbo River. But the water volume is abundant, second only to its tributary, the Parlung Tsangpo River.
The Niyang River originates from Cuomulangla on the west side of Mila Mountain in Tibet Autonomous Region, China, flows from west to east, and merges into the Yarlung Zangbo River near Zemen in Nyingchi County.
When I first went to Tibet in 2008, the construction of the Niyang River Scenic Belt had just begun. Now it has been completed, including the viaduct of the Lhasa to Linlin Expressway across the Niyang River, which was unimaginable at the time.
The scenic belt that was not built in 2008 was not beautiful, so no photos of that time were preserved. Figure 2 was taken on August 11, 2011, and the rest were taken on April 14, 2021. Most of them were beautiful photos taken by drones. #lake #travelinchina #snowmountain #tibet #linzhi #wetland #aerialphotography #bridge #meadow
