I visited ⭐️Goseong Unification Observatory⭐️ during my summer trip. It's the northernmost observatory in South Korea, accessible only after registering and receiving security training at the Unification Observatory Registration Office, located within the Civilian Control Line (CDL). Visitors can view North Korea, further north than Goseong, from the observatory, and stay there for a limited time. You can also see and take photos of the overland tours to Mount Kumgang, once possible via the Donghae Line, which opened in December 2004.
