Ticket Purchase

• Ticket Purchase Methods: Book tickets in advance through the "Xuwen Port" or "Qiongzhou Strait Ferry Butler" WeChat public accounts, or purchase tickets via platforms like Trip.com.

• Ticket Prices: Adult tickets are about 41 RMB; children aged 6-14 or 1.2-1.5 meters tall pay half price; children under 6 years old or under 1.2 meters ride free. Small passenger cars cost 415 RMB per vehicle (including driver ticket); new energy vehicles must purchase a special new energy ferry ticket.

• Schedule Options: Multiple sailings daily, starting as early as 7:00 AM. It is recommended to plan ahead, book tickets 3 days in advance during peak season, and choose morning sailings to avoid crowds.

Boarding Process

• Arrive Early: Fuel vehicles should arrive 90 minutes in advance, new energy vehicles 120 minutes in advance. Enter through the correct entrance in front of the "Small Car and Passenger Car Ticket Office."

• Collect Boarding Tickets: Vehicles with reservations drive directly to the gate to collect boarding tickets. Passengers separate from vehicles at the drop-off point and take their ID cards to the self-service ticket machine on the second floor of the transportation hub to collect boarding tickets. Small cars with trailers need to collect two tickets.

• Vehicle Security Check: Drivers enter security check and wait for boarding with their tickets. After vehicle security check, queue according to the ship name and berth number on the ticket. Electric vehicles must wait in the designated area as instructed by staff after security check.

• Boarding Notes: After boarding, drivers should promptly inform passengers of the ship and berth number to avoid passengers and vehicles boarding different ships.

After Arrival

• Passenger and Vehicle Reunion: Upon arrival at Haikou New Port, if in the North Zone, passengers disembark first and wait in the waiting area for the vehicle. Drivers drive to the designated area and notify passengers before departure. If in the South Zone, drivers go to the second-floor passenger-vehicle reunion area; passengers disembark, pass through the gangway to the third-floor arrival hall, then walk to the second floor to meet the vehicle, and depart through the third-floor exit.

• Transportation Transfer: Passengers without vehicles can go from the third-floor arrival hall to the first-floor GTC Transportation Center to take taxis, buses, or other transport to leave the port area.

Other Information

• Documents: Be sure to bring your ID card and vehicle registration; electronic ferry tickets are sufficient.

• Weather: Typhoons are common in summer; check weather forecasts in advance to avoid traveling in bad weather.

• Pets on Board: Pets are allowed on the ferry but must have a cage and vaccination certificate.
