Timeless Treasures: Exploring the Antique Watch Collection at Guangdong Museum

The museum currently houses nearly 184,000 items, including over 130,000 cultural relics and ancient books (sets) and more than 40,000 natural specimens. Important collections include paintings and calligraphy from the Lingnan School, baleen whale skeletons, a giant malachite, and a natural specimen of Xinyi jade weighing over 5 tons.
Categories include: art, applied arts, crafts, archaeology, anthropology and ethnology, history, cultural history, military history, science, technology, children's museum, natural history, numismatics, botanical gardens and zoos, and philately. Among these categories, many museums further classify into contemporary art, local history, aviation history, agriculture, geology, and more.
Opening Hours:
1. Tuesday to Sunday: 9:00 AM—5:00 PM (last entry at 4:00 PM);
2. Closed on Mondays; Friday night sessions are temporarily suspended.
Tickets: Free but reservation required
Transportation Guide:
1. Bus: Take bus routes 18, 886, 669, or 293 and get off at Xiancun Road South Station; or take bus routes 40 or 407 and get off at the West Gate of Guangzhou Opera House.
2. Metro: Take Metro Line 3 to Zhujiang New Town Station, Exit B1, walk forward to Guangzhou Opera House, then walk east along Linjiang Avenue for 200 meters; or take Metro Line 5 to Liede Station, Exit D, walk forward to Xiancun Road, then turn left and walk south along Xiancun Road for about 200 meters. From APM Grand Theater Station, Exit B, take the escalator to Huacheng Square, then turn right to the west gate of the museum.
