I embarked on a journey to Guangzhou. This southern metropolis is not only a city with a long history but also a place where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. Although the trip lasted only a few days, it left me with wonderful memories and valuable experiences.
My first impression of Guangzhou was that it is busy yet orderly. Whether in the skyscraper-filled Tianhe District or the bustling Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, every corner of the city is full of energy and rhythm. I particularly appreciated the metro system—it’s convenient and efficient, allowing me to travel easily between different attractions.
One of the most unforgettable experiences of the trip was visiting the Canton Tower (also known as “Xiao Man Yao”). Standing at the top, I enjoyed a panoramic view of the entire city, where the shimmering Pearl River and the sparkling city lights created a breathtaking scene. During the day, I also visited Yuexiu Park, where I could truly feel the weight of Guangzhou’s history. Walking along the ancient city wall, I couldn’t help but imagine the prosperity and stories of the past.
Of course, the food in Guangzhou was another highlight I won’t soon forget. From the morning dim sum like rice noodle rolls, shrimp dumplings, and siu mai to the evening claypot dishes…
