October to November is the peak blooming season in Flower City Guangzhou! Here’s a flower viewing guide

From October to November, Guangzhou will show you why it’s called the Flower City!
At this time, bougainvillea in different colors bloom all over the streets and alleys.
White kapok trees shed petals in the wind, creating a romantic “snowfall.”
Trains run through seas of pink flowers, as if you’re inside a comic book…
Here are some spots you can bookmark if you plan to travel to Guangzhou.
PS: I will update live reports of various flowers in Guangzhou later. If interested, please follow me!
.
🌸 White and pink bougainvillea
Navigate to “Guangzhou Hilton DoubleTree Hotel.”
The pedestrian bridge next door is filled with intertwined white and pink bougainvillea.
Fresh and elegant, very beautiful!
It’s best to go on a sunny day; the blue sky and sunlight act like a natural filter!

Navigate to “Jianglingxia” in Dongshankou, it’s just above the parking lot.
From outside, it looks like a small patch, but inside there are more flowers.

🌸 Pink-purple bougainvillea
At the intersection outside Wuyangcun Metro Station exit.
There is a pedestrian bridge covered with pink-purple bougainvillea.
This area is large and especially beautiful during peak bloom.

🌸 Yellow bougainvillea
From Rainbow Bridge Exit F, you can see it on the pedestrian bridge.
When I went, this bloom period had already passed, and many flowers had wilted.
But by carefully choosing angles, you can still take some nice photos.
If you still plan to go, be mentally prepared.
Or you can wait for the next bloom period to check it out!

🌸 White kapok tree
Navigate to the “Scientific Research and Experimental Base” at South China Normal University Shipai Campus.
You can see this white kapok tree there.
Although there is only one tree, it’s really beautiful.
There are also many pink kapok trees nearby.
It’s recommended to visit them on the way!

🌸 Pink kapok tree
Exit from Tanwei Exit B and walk straight ahead to the opposite side of the metro station.
With pink kapok flowers as the foreground,
you can capture the moment the metro heads into the sea of flowers.
Near Pazhou Bridge on the tram side,
you can see the tram heading toward the kapok flower station.
A sea of pink, truly romantic!
