Guangzhou Railway Museum is located in Liwan District, covering an area of ​​28,950 square meters, including 18,489 square meters of outdoor area and 10,461 square meters of indoor area. It is divided into two indoor exhibition halls and one open-air exhibition area. It is a transportation-themed museum. It is currently the largest railway museum in South China.

The Guangzhou Railway Museum was officially opened to the public on May 18, 2022. The museum was built on the original site of the century-old Huangsha Station. The overall building retains the basic original style, integrating display, collection, display, popular science, and education. It collects more than 4,000 historical relics and old objects, and is an important window for presenting the history of railway development in multiple dimensions.

Hall 1 consists of five exhibition halls: Hard Journey, Road to Rebirth, Pioneering, High-speed Railway Era, and Carrying Forward, showing the century-old history of Guangzhou Railway.

Hall 2 exhibits railway industrial heritage and old railway objects; the open-air exhibition area mainly displays some locomotives, vehicles, lines, signals and other railway equipment.
