This stay offered a premium experience, and here's the detailed review:
The resort's overall environmental planning is exceptional. Even at full occupancy, the expansive garden layout ensures ample space for guest activities. While the architecture carries a vintage charm, meticulous maintenance keeps the lush greenery in excellent visual and ecological condition.
Room design and spatial configuration are impressive. Upon entering, the high ceilings create an airy atmosphere, especially noticeable in top-floor rooms. The well-planned functional zones—from the separate living area at the entrance to the private sleeping quarters, complete with bathroom and walk-in closet—demonstrate smart space utilization. The only drawback is the slightly underwhelming quality and selection of toiletries, which could be upgraded.
Thoughtful service details shine throughout. After check-in at the lobby, guests enjoy private shuttle service directly to their rooms. Whether heading to the hot springs or the observation deck, a quick call to the front desk ensures prompt transportation arrangements.
The hot spring area features one large public pool and five themed smaller pools, though some smaller pools run too hot for optimal comfort. The service counter offers three specialty teas and mandarin oranges—adequate but with room for more variety. Breakfast meets star-rated hotel standards in taste, though could benefit from more distinctive or innovative offerings.
Overall, this hot spring resort strikes an excellent balance between facilities, service, and pricing, standing out as a benchmark among regional competitors in the hot spring resort category.
