2 Days in Guangzhou ?

Guangzhou General Attractions can be divided in two area - Yuexiu ( The Old Town area ) and Tian He ( The New Modern Area )

If you are a first time visitor and a foreign tourist , Yuexiu area would be a lot more attractive with rich culture & History dating back to the Chinese Dynasties ( Ming , Song )

All famous attractions like - Yuexiu Park , Sun Yat Sun Museum , Yong Qing Fang , Chen Clan Academy are on this side !

Now … let’s consider we are tight on schedule and have to spend 2 days ?
Here’s my favourite places to go.

One day in Yuexiu to enjoy the culture & 1 day in Tianhe ( especially in Tiyu Xi , Zhu Jiang Xin Cheng ) area for shopping and modern architecture.

Yuexiu area
1. Sha Mian Island to enjoy the European Architecture , Tea museum & Church. And Pearl River View

You can ride bicycle or take public transport to Yong Qing Fang

There , you can spend a lot of time along the shopping street , Many photo spots and the amazing layout, architecture & Cantonese Opera

After that , you can go to the Beijing Road ( its the whole area ) shopping street , Cathedral , Buddhist Temple.

For Day 2

Tiyu Xi Lu and Zhu Jiang Xin Cheng area is packed with Guangzhou best High-end malls

1. Zhengjia Shopping Mall - where sport centers , aquarium are also located.

2. Parc Central - the only mall with Zara Store in Guangzhou.

The area also have a lot photo places and a lot things to do with shopping streets.

And after that spend the night at 海心桥 and Canton Tower located at Canton Tower metro station
Or take a pearl river night cruise.
