Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center Marriott Hotel Yuexiu opened in 2023, adjacent to Baiyun Cultural Square Metro Station. The hotel forms an architectural cluster with Four Points by Sheraton and Element, sharing some public areas with Lingnan-style garden landscapes, creating an elegant environment.

🏘️Room Type/Layout:

- Used a weekend coupon to upgrade to an 86 sqm executive suite on the top floor with an open eastern view overlooking Baiyun Mountain and the convention center.
- The room features modern business-style decor with wooden floors paired with blue-gray patterned carpets, walls in beige and black tones accented with white marble; the sofa has a distinct business feel, and the high ceiling design makes the space feel more spacious.
- The bedroom has soft lighting for a comfortable stay; the master bedroom has dual bathrooms, with the guest bathroom being larger than the master bathroom.
- The screen design next to the bathtub is a standout feature, offering a broader perspective while bathing.

🛌Amenities/Facilities:

- The entire room is equipped with smart home technology, including a Philips TV and Dyson hairdryer; toiletries are from the thisworks series, with TG tea bags and LOR capsule coffee provided.
- The disposable slippers are relatively thin and less comfortable.

💗Other Tips:

- Service-wise, there was a minor incident with a stuck showerhead, but the engineering department resolved it promptly upon request.
- The welcome amenities included a "traffic light" fruit platter and handmade cookies, with the cookies being quite tasty.
- For anniversaries, the room is decorated with twin swan-shaped towels, petals, and a cake. The cake requires advance booking, and although delivery was delayed, the green grapes on top were delicious.
- The public area on the first floor is spacious but lacks clear signage, which might cause some inconvenience for guests.
- The lounge is decent, but due to crowding, seating can be tight, making it difficult for those seated inside to move around.

- On the second stay, successfully upgraded to a suite. The hotel lounge's food offerings are good, and the overall property is quite new, making it a worthwhile accommodation choice.
