🙏 Liurong Temple (Liurong Temple / 六榕寺), Guangzhou

This temple is also known as #Liurongsi Temple or the Six Banyan Trees Temple. 🌳 It's a temple over 1,400 years old, dating back to the Liang Dynasty. A must-see for anyone visiting is the 57-meter-tall red and white Flower Pagoda, which stands majestically in the center of the temple. It's a definite Guangzhou landmark. 🏯✨

🌟 Why do you have to visit?

For me, this temple is the most sacred temple I've ever been to. Earlier this year, I made a wish here and promised to return to pay my respects again if it came true. And… my wish was granted within a few weeks! 😱
Then, there was a tug of war, and I finally returned to pay my respects. It's a promise I want to keep. 💖

🪷 Temple Highlights
• Flower Pagoda – The nine-story pagoda is the temple's symbol. Beautiful photo opportunity!
• Large golden Buddha statue – Inside the main hall are three majestic statues.
• Old banyan tree – The temple's name is given to it, believed to be auspicious.
• Peaceful and shady atmosphere – Walking around feels peaceful, even in the middle of a big city.

✨ Personal Experience

This temple is more than just a tourist attraction, it's also a spiritual refuge for many. For me, it's a "prayers and prayers come true" experience, so much so that I had to return. 🥹💫 If you read my review again, you'll know that my wish was granted again!

🚇 How to get there: • Take Metro Line 1 to Ximenkou Station (西门口站).
• Exit B and walk for about 5-10 minutes.
• The temple is located near Yuexiu Park and the old quarter of Guangzhou.

📌 Summary:

If you're in Guangzhou and looking for a quiet place to pray for a prosperous life, Or if you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful spot to take photos, Wat Ban Hok Ton is a must-see. It's so sacred you'll want to come back again! ✨
