Weekend getaway close to nature to start a leisurely slow life

After a week of work, the long-awaited weekend has arrived, and of course, it's time to treat yourself well. For this short trip, I chose to escape the concrete and steel city and come to this oasis that belongs to you and me. Take deep breaths of fresh air and enjoy the true meaning of a secluded slow life.

Starting from downtown Guangzhou, it’s only about an hour’s drive to the destination—Conghua Tianren Shanshui Resort. The entire park is even bigger than I imagined, covering a total area of 10 square kilometers. Besides many photo spots and various recreational activities, different events are held every month for visitors to join, such as frisbee golf, clay modeling fun, tea tasting and scripture copying, gardening DIY, and more.

This time at Tianren Shanshui Resort, I stayed in a Zhenyi Tent. Hidden among the forest, the Zhenyi Tent offers a panoramic view surrounded by mountains and greenery that is truly healing. I love sitting on the tent’s large viewing balcony, sipping fragrant tea and enjoying this moment of leisure. It made me feel the secluded life where the cicadas’ noise makes the forest quieter and the birds’ singing makes the mountains more serene.

In addition, you can swim in the naked-heart pool right next to the tent and experience the charm of the infinity pool in the forest. Also, don’t miss the breakfast at "Zhenyi Xuan"✅. The hearty Chinese breakfast is really delicious—I accidentally finished everything on my plate. The restaurant’s decor uses floor-to-ceiling glass design, which not only provides excellent lighting but also offers views of the garden outside. Absolutely loved it!
