The "Former Residence of Bai Chongxi," also known as Bai Mansion, is located at No. 16 Ronghu North Road, within the grounds of Ronghu Hotel in Guilin. Built in 1945, it served as Bai Chongxi's primary residence after that year. Bai Chongxi (1893-1966), a native of Guilin, was one of the leaders of the New Guangxi Clique and was often referred to alongside Li Zongren as "Li-Bai." The Bai Mansion is a structure rich in historical charm and has now been transformed into a high-end hotel with a retro vibe. The interior is decorated in the style of the Republic of China era, featuring black-and-white photographs on the walls, antique furniture, and artworks in the lobby. In 2017, Bai Chongxi's son, Bai Xianyong, established a literature museum within the former residence.
